Let's take a drive down those back roads, or along the river. A bike ride on the trails is always fun also. I really enjoy outdoor activities. I still have a love for horses even though having them around is not an option for me right now. A camp fire or star gazing is always a nice way to finish a day.I enjoy dancing, be it on the dance floor, in the kitchen, living room, by a campfire, or even through a mud puddle! As long as there is music, or just a good partner to lead, I'm game. As far as music, I have it playing all the time. (I'm not much of a tv watcher) I like oldies, classic rock, country (classic and new), some jazz, some blues, bluegrass, even the old big band and old time, most really - except rap and hip-hop. I am a very affectionate person. In public, I'll be holding your hand, have a hand in the crook of your elbow, or maybe a finger hooked in your belt loop. A good hug is hard to beat!I have a good sense of humor. Ok, maybe a bit sarcastic at times, but not at the expense of others. I enjoy laughing, and making others laugh equally as much. I come from a large family, and we all like to have fun! I am very family oriented. I have 3 grown kids. I also have 2 grandchildren (and 2 bonus ones) My kids mean the world to me. Having the opportunity to get to know one another better. Maybe a visit over a soda or coffee, maybe a meal together. Perhaps a nice walk around the lake or even a bike ride. Something that both of us can feel comfortable with.
One where you bring out the best in each other. It's never going to happen that you don't have differences - no two people are alike (thank goodness!). A strong friendship bond so that on those days that you don't "Like" each other, you can still "Love" each other (and there will be those days, and that's ok) I am a very affectionate person, so I really enjoy that gentle touch when you walk by, or something as simple as holding hands.
Good communication is a necessity. You have to respect one another as well. There are times to pick the battles. My grandmother (who lived to be almost 99) once said "let them win the battles, but stand your ground for the wars". There's a lot of truth to that. The petty stuff that gets under your skin probably isn't worth an argument (most days - hahahah).
