As Jerry Garcia would say ‘What a long strange trip it’s been’. I’ve lived an interesting life so far. When I was 15 I lived in the realm of the crazy brave. I hitchhiked cross-country by myself. I thought I knew all of life’s answers but didn’t realize I hadn’t heard all of the questions yet. I didn’t care much for high school. In my senior year the assistant principal came to me and said they added up my days absent I had been absent for 2 years and they wanted me to come back and do another year even thought I had the grades and credits to graduate. I asked him if he wanted me to go to the local paper about the guidance counselor who had a taste for high school girls. He decided to let me graduate with my class and I learned that knowledge is power. I don’t like to argue and fight. I have a couple of dogs that I usually travel with so I need to find someone that likes dogs. I enjoy hiking in the mountains, canoeing down rivers, drinking cold beer on a hot beach and traveling for the sake of traveling not so much to get somewhere. I’d like to find a laidback and kind woman, someone who laughs at my dry sense of humor. I do sometimes push the envelope of good taste and decorum, so if you have the ability to shrug you shoulders and say ‘well that’s Jimmy’ that would help. I want a friend who doesn’t want drama in her life, because she has learned that you don’t sweat the petty stuff. ..
